Internet Update: No Bones About Arthritis
13 September 2000
Bangkok Post
Seth Ginsberg, an 18-year-old college freshman who is a former poster boy for the National Arthritis Foundation, has launched a sometimes-humorous web site for other arthritis sufferers.Ginsberg, who takes some 12-pills-a-day for his own arthritis pain, says he created the site - CreakyJoints.com - as "a participatory and personal community where people come together and share deep-rooted feelings about their common disease." CreakyJoints.com's stories, written by arthritis sufferers, include black humour from "Creak," an arthritic dog with a foul mouth and a big heart. Ginsberg himself is one of a group of regular columnists. He writes "Creaky Chronicles," a personal diary that includes entries written when he was first diagnosed at age 13.
