December 2006 What’s worse than forgetting your medicine at home and remembering once you’re at work or school? That happened to me today, for a change, and it really bothers me. When am I going to learn to a) remember or b) keep an extra set of pills at my desk at work? Probably never. The ironic part is that today I played the “I’m not feeling well enough to go to the gym” card – and instead went to work. All the while I could have woken up, cooked a healthy breakfast, taken some medicine and gone to the gym for half the time I usually go. Instead I’m sitting at my desk feeling like a train wreck through a schoolhouse. Until I get home, fed and medicated tonight at least. But that’s a long way off… |
